Dana Sawyer
Dr. Sawyer is professor of religion and philosophy at the Maine College of Art and a popular lecturer at such venues as the Esalen Institute and Kripalu. The author of critically acclaimed biographies of Aldous Huxley and Huston Smith, he is an expert in theories related to the “perennial philosophy,” the view that there is a spiritual core at the heart of all religion and spirituality. We spoke about perennialism, mysticism, his research among the swamis of India, and the two influential men whose biographies he’s written. Learn more about Dana Sawyer here: www.dana-sawyer.com
