Dr. David Frawley

Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri), D.Litt is a Vedic teacher and translator, trained in the fields of Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda and Vedic astrology. He is the author of more than forty books published in twenty languages worldwide and serves as director of the American Institute of Vedic Studies. In 2015 he was the first western Yoga/Ayurveda teacher to receive the prestigious Padma Bhushan award from the president of India, for “service to the nation of a high order.” He was recently granted a special National Eminence Award by the South Indian Education Society (SIES) of the Kanchi Sankaracharya Math.
